Role-Based Access Control
With that system RBAC, each user or user group is attached to role or a business
profile. Usually, this Role is originally created from the current Information System
structure and the organization itself.
According to his profile, each user will be entitled to access to some specific
applications and data. Users, having similar duties are brought together under the
same Role. The delivery of access is then easier and it also gives the opportunity
to qualify and precise access authorizations. This way, the information System is
safeguarded, it costs less to manage, access entitlements delivery is quicker and
easier. The lifecycle of people (recruitment, promotion, relocation, departure…)
within the company is properly managed
As well as KLEVERWARE has developed solutions
which are non intrusive, easy to implement and to handle, those solutions enhance
the RBAC model. KLEVER ROLE
MANAGEMENT SUITE goes further the RBAC model and builds
up the Roles repository
(according to business profiles) and then attaches to each role the resources that
suites. This new base can be improved according the security policy. This base enables
to automate the identity and
access management.
The system is secured, controls are simpler and easier and risks are in control.
