The TOP DOWN approach relies on :
- First, it defines the entitlements to the resources per function and per Business
profile : each employee or each user of the Information System gets rights according
to his function, his role in the organization, his geographic localization and his
access mode…
- Second, this new definition of business profiles towards resources becomes the norm
within the organization and also one of the fundamentals of the security policy.
Finally, each current user (or user to come) gets a business profile. The resources
he’ll get will be attributed according to his function and his level in the company.
