K-Mapping

K-Mapping is the software of reconciliation of data of Klever Audit Suite.

K-Mapping answers to the problem that every system, technical or application software, leans generally on the notion of unique identifier to characterize a user. The presence of common identifiers between two systems allows to create a link between them and to collect all the data relating to a given user. The reference numbers, for example, constitute identifiers privileged to characterize to users of IT.

In the scope of the management of the identities, it is determining to know how to connect suitably all the data resulting from heterogeneous systems to the user whom they concern.

Reconciliation of two files without common identifiers

When, two files have not common identifiers to gather all information that characterize a same user, it is going to need to create this link from the present data in each of both files to be moved closer. K-Mapping allows to make this operation.

It is a matter of indicating, in each of the files, the easiest types of data to realize this link. For a user, these types of data can be names, first names, logins, or quite other data able to participate in the characterization of a user.

K-Mapping makes then a scoring of the present elements in every file and delivers these results under graphic shape. These results can be confirmed or modified by the user of k-Mapping.

A taxonomy approach of the users

The management of identities pinpoints the problems associated to the taxonomy of users. Thru its possibilities, K-Mapping answers the usually met problems:

  • The management of homonyms
  • ;
  • The distinction by title or surname
  • ;
  • The management of failing spellings of names
  • ;
  • The identification of generic identities
  • ;
  • The recognition of incomplete identities
  • ;
  • The identification of unknown identities
  • .

By allowing observing the constraints associated with the link of files without common identifiers, K-Mapping contributes to the rationalization of the population of users.
